It doesn’t look like much, but my squash plant is blooming.

Yesterday was a rough day at work, very chaotic and busy with a lot of unexpected and frustrating things happening. I listened to a sermon podcast on the way home, which cleared my mind, then I went outside to check on my garden and other plants. I found one small, perfectly ripe strawberry—which was delicious!—and then I realized my squash plant is blooming. Yes, it’s something so small in the scheme of things, but it lifted my spirits.

Plants are always greener.
