It’s springtime in Texas. That means everything is super green and vibrant. It also means we’ve had a lot of rain the last week—and the tornado sirens went off Saturday night. (Thanks for that heart attack…The sirens lasted about two minutes, then died away. It wasn’t raining. The wind wasn’t blowing. Basically, no weather was happening at the time.) As a result, except for my mint plants, my little garden is flourishing. The mint plants happen to be located on a shelf under the roof overhang high above, so I have to water them by hand. And I kind of forgot for a couple of days.
When I got home from work yesterday, I went out there to check on things.

Spending a few minutes in my little garden after a long day at work really lifts my spirits.
